The Aquinas Center - which is inclusive of: Catechetical Ministry & the Aquinas Center Resource Library - was founded in 1973 by the New Albany Deanery Board of Total Catholic Education for the purpose of providing personnel and material resources as well as generating opportunities for continuing education in the faith for the Catholics of the New Albany Deanery.

 

We invite you to call us or visit us for resources to assist you with your programs or for your own personal faith formation.  We are located at the St. Joe Hill Campus of St. John Paul II Parish in the School Building.

On August 1, 2013 the Archdiocese of Indianapolis announced that


SAFE & SACRED would replace the VIRTUS Program


The Archdiocese of Indianapolis has initiated a convenient new online training program for adults on protecting children from harm. The training builds awareness of how to recognize and report physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, and child sexual abuse. Safe and Sacred offers broader content and easier access to training. The training is available in English and Spanish 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and takes about 45 minutes to complete and can be done in parts.  



All NEW clergy, religious, staff and volunteers must complete the Safe and Sacred Program BEFORE they begin their ministry.  The program can be accessed by following this link:
